This mode is ideal for clinicians who prefer real-time control and immediate feedback.
- Record Live – Providers can record audio during patient encounters without requiring immediate transcription. Once the recording is complete, VEHRBAL automatically transcribes the content in the background. This mode is suitable for offline or fast-paced workflows.
- Drag & Drop Uploads – Users can drag and drop audio files into the interface (supported formats include .wav, .dss, .ds2, .mp3, .vox, .msv, .dvf, .wmv, .dct, and .m4a). VEHRBAL then processes these files using the same powerful AI engine to generate accurate transcriptions and SOAP notes.
AI-Powered SOAP Note Generation
Once an audio input is captured—whether live or recorded—VEHRBAL’s AI engine takes over to:
- Transcribe the audio with high accuracy using a clinical speech recognition model
- Filter out filler words, background noise, and non-clinical dialogue
- Parse medical terminology and structure the output into standard SOAP note format: Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan
- Apply specialty-specific or user-customized templates
- Support post-processing refinement via natural language editing (e.g., Magic Edit-style functionality)
VEHRBAL allows clinicians to personalize their notes using reusable templates and can learn provider preferences over time, making notes increasingly tailored to individual documentation styles.
