The platform offers three intuitive methods for capturing dictation. Users can choose the **"Dictate Live"** option, which allows real-time dictation with immediate AI transcription visible on the screen as the user speaks. This feature is ideal for fast-paced environments where immediate feedback is essential, enabling providers to verify and edit their documentation as they go.
Alternatively, providers can use the **"Record Live"** feature. This function allows users to record audio on the spot, which is then automatically transcribed in the background once the recording is complete. It’s especially useful in scenarios where internet connectivity may be limited or when the provider prefers to review the text later.
The third option—**drag-and-drop upload**—lets users quickly upload audio files (such as .wav, .mp3, .dss, and others) into the system for transcription. VEHRBAL accepts a broad range of formats and processes the audio with the same high-accuracy AI engine, delivering results that are then parsed and formatted into compliant SOAP notes.
