The Drag & Drop Upload page in VEHRBAL provides a simple way for providers to submit audio recordings for transcription. Instead of navigating through multiple menus, users can upload their files directly from this screen and begin the transcription process quickly. This page accepts a variety of audio file types, including .wav, .dss, .ds2, .mp3, .vox, .msv, .dvf, .wmv, .dct, and .m4a, ensuring compatibility with the most common dictation formats used in medical practices.

Users may either drag one or more files into the designated upload area or click inside the box to browse and select files manually from their computer. Once uploaded, the files are queued and processed automatically, making the experience fast and seamless. For providers who prefer live input, the page also includes two additional options — Dictate Live and Record Live — which are explained in greater detail on their respective help pages.

This upload page is designed for efficiency and ease of use, allowing providers to spend less time managing files and more time on patient care. By supporting multiple audio formats and giving users flexibility in how they provide dictation, VEHRBAL ensures a smooth workflow for clinical documentation.

How to Upload Files

Go to Dictate → Dictate from the main menu.

Drag one or more audio files into the upload area — or click inside the box to select files from your computer.

Confirm that your files appear in the upload area.

(Optional) Use Dictate Live or Record Live for real-time input.

Once uploaded, VEHRBAL will automatically process the files for transcription.
